I got an error message too. Then I noticed that the instruction recommend that the global local be changed to japan. I did that and it started right up.
To do that (on Windows 10):
1. Go to control panel
2. Click on “Clock and Region”
3. Click one the tab that says “Administrative”.
4. In the section that says “Language for non Unicode Languages”, change the region in the drop down box to Japanese (Japan).
5. Restart your computer.
As long as you don’t change the actual system language, everything should still look the same.
Also, while I’m really grateful for the game, OP should have made the process clearer.
Any DLC to remove the pixelation for this?
